Like sand in an hourglass, time is running out for Luce and Daniel. To stop Lucifer from erasing the past they must find the place where the angels fell to earth. Great sacrifices are made. Hearts are destroyed. And suddenly Luce knows what must happen.
For she was meant to be with someone other than Daniel. The curse they’ve borne has always and only been about her—and the love she cast aside. The choice she makes now will be the only one that truly matters. In the fight for Luce, who will win?

I've been really into the "Fallen" series since the beginning. I stayed really, really into it throughout the entire series and my love for it never waned. "Rapture" was by far the most intense book in this series which is fitting considering it is the final book. I can literally say it goes out with a bang. Throughout reading these books I was unaware that things could become more unpredictable. In Rapture, I thought I had a general idea of where the storyline was going, but just as soon as I thought that... the book would pick up and take me in an entirely different direction all leading up to the same finale', however.

Rapture is one of those books that you never want to put down and even when you do you still continue to think about it. This book took on some deep subjects that sometimes made me uncomfortable, but we all have on our own perception on things. This book dealt with "The Fall" which is what brought the Angels to Earth in the first place, it deals with the balance between Heaven and Hell, how it effects Earth, and the one Angel who can tip the scales.

The characters in this book entertained me so much. Everything is so tense and serious, but characters like Arianne and Annabelle still seemed to make it lighthearted. I loved Cam and Roland, I have a major soft spot for both of them. I almost had hoped that Cam would have played a bigger part in the ending, but the story has always been about Luce and Daniel, everyone else just accentuates their presence. In the finale struggle, the seven days they had to find the three relics that would lead them to the site of the fall, the journey was unbelievable. I enjoyed reading about different locations, surroundings, etc. It's all so interesting and bad ass. Scary, but bad ass. There was just so much emotion and intensity in this book, I can't even pretend I didn't gasp a few times... or more.

When it came to the ending, the EPIC endings of all endings, I was so nervous. I literally had no idea how ANYTHING was going to go down which scared me because I'm usually relatively perceptive on how a story could pan out... but not here, not at all. It's so inspiring that Luce and Daniel have the kind of love that transcends all time, no matter what, no matter who, and no matter where. Nothing has ever stood in their way except in the VERY beginning which I can't talk about... cause' clearly that would be a spoiler. Let's just say, I freaked when I found out certain specific details. Anyways, back to my parting words, I liked the ending but didn't like it at the same time. I'm complacent with it. After everything that had happened, I think it was a good fit for them and something they needed. I only wish a few things had been different.

Overall, GREAT book, FANTASTIC series, I HIGHLY recommend it. Also, if you have read the book, Tweet me so we can chat about it... it's necessary. [ @CaryCheyenneXO ]
